To bill Medicare Advantage claims through Zaya, your providers must first be enrolled with Zaya’s Traditional Medicare group. This is required by Medicare so that Zaya can obtain a unique PTAN for each provider under our group.
Important:
This enrollment does not affect any other Medicare enrollments your provider has with other groups (e.g., under your own Tax ID), and does not require you to submit Traditional Medicare claims through Zaya. Providers already enrolled with Medicare can be linked to multiple medical groups at once. Enrolling with Zaya will not impact other affiliations.
What you need to do:
- Fill out the Enrollment Preference Form
- Based on the provider’s current Medicare status:
- Already enrolled with Medicare: We’ll submit a reassignment form to add Zaya as a group, which you will require your e-signature in the PECOS platform. Our team then takes it from here.
- Not yet enrolled with Medicare: We’ll guide you through a full enrollment, including setting up surrogacy access (see article linked below).
- Providers must electronically sign the application in PECOS when prompted via an email from CMS. Providers must complete their e-signature to finalize their enrollment.
