Summary
This article explains how Zaya processes and issues practice payments, including timing, amounts, and how payments are deposited via ACH. It also covers where to view payment details, how to update bank information, and who to contact for questions.
When are payments issued?
Payments are issued every Wednesday via direct deposit to your practice's nominated bank account. The payout will include all remits received by Friday of the previous week.
How much do I get paid?
Practices are paid for claims that the insurance carriers has reimbursed. If a claim is denied, neither Zaya nor the practice earns any payment. Zaya deducts a service fee from the "allowed amount", and the practice receives the rest, minus any patient responsibility, which the practice collects directly. For an up-to-date understanding of the service fee charged, please refer to your rate card.
How does my practice get paid?
When joining Zaya, the practice owner completes an ACH authorization form to fill out the practice's bank account details. This allows Zaya to send payments via direct deposit.
How long does it take to receive my payment?
Zaya is committed to ensuring timely issuance of payments. However, processing times vary for each bank which means that payments can take 1-2 business days before it is reflected in your chosen bank account. Your receipt shows the claims included per payout date, their status and the patient cost-share information.
Where can I view the details of my payment?
The details of your payment is available through the Zaya portal. For more detailed instructions on how to view your remittances, please refer to the 'View Earnings & Payments' article.
How do I update my bank details?
The practice owner must reach out to Zaya for any changes on the practice's bank details. Kindly check the 'Updating your Bank Account Information' article for a step-by-step guide on how to go about this process.
Who do I reach out to if I have other questions about my payment?
For any payment questions you may have, please send an email to support@zayacare.com
