The Zaya Care team knows that insurance can feel complicated, so we've created a short go-to guide for explaining how insurance coverage works.
Step 1: Provider adds client and their insurance to the portal
- The provider (you!) logs into their portal and creates a new client, including their insurance information, and schedules their appointment.
Step 2: Zaya Care conducts an eligibility verification and cost check
- Our team will verify that your client has active coverage and benefits coverage for the upcoming appointment. Furthermore, we'll calculate a cost estimate for any potential cost-sharing responsibility that your client may have (e.g. like a co-pay).
Step 3: Zaya Care shares the eligibility check result and cost estimate with you and your client
- We'll send you and the client an email with the information about the eligibility check as well as the cost estimate ahead of the appointment.
If you'd like to verify a client's eligibility before you have an appointment scheduled with them, contact us at support@zayacare.com with the client's name, insurance payer, Member ID and DOB.
